Gene Ontology (GO)
Gene Ontology (GO) is a collaborative ongoing project to classify and compare gene functions and products across all species. It is an effort to create a unified database of all gene functions in all different organisms and figure out how they are interconnected. Three categories that describe Gene Products (in this case, the BMPR2 protein)
Molecular function generally describes what a protein is capable of. Many times these can line up with certain domains that a protein has. Examples of Molecular function would be Iron binding, or amino acid binding sites.

Analysis
Biological processes, cellular component, and molecular function of BMPR2 Protein support its potential function, regulating growth and differentiation of various cell types. GO terms results show that BMPR2 Protein is related with regulating pressure of pulmonary arteries, cell growth and BMP signaling pathway.
